The Lani is sand-cast using a process that has not changed in centuries. A mold is pressed by hand, molten brass is poured, and each piece emerges as its own object. The slight irregularities that result are not flaws — they are what artisan-made means when it means something.

After casting, a nano ceramic e-coat is applied to the brass. This is what makes the Lani a daily earring and not just an occasional one: the coating is tarnish-resistant, water-resistant, hypoallergenic, and nickel-free.
